EPIC-Inclusive Soccer for Kids With Disabilities
2024 Winter 99U Registration
Welcome to AYSO Area 2J Adult Soccer League open to all adults (
Co-Ed) ages 18 - 98 (99U)!
This program practices in the central San Jose area (near 280 and 87...details below) and is open to any adult that can make the scrimmages there.
Click
here
to go directly to the 99U AYSO Adult League registration page.
Who:
We encourage all current parents, coaches, referees, volunteers and alumni of AYSO to join; the program is open to anyone who shares a belief of playing in a safe, fair and fun soccer environment. You do NOT have to have a child playing in a youth program to participate in this adult league.
What:
Players will be divided into 2 full-field games; Recreational and Competitive. Recreational is for players looking to play soccer in a more relaxed atmosphere with a good array of talent from beginner through early competitive players. Competitive games are much faster and physical, with players having played soccer for many years. For players new to soccer, please work with the coach for the session on specific aspects of the game that you'd like to improve and they can work with you to learn and improve your game.
When you register, you pick which group you think fits you best by selecting a 'team' (2J-24-Winter-Coed-Competitive for the Competitive group or 2J-24-Winter-Coed-Recreational' for the Recreational group). Keep in mind that selecting a group doesn't lock you into that group for the entire season. This is just to get a preliminary headcount as people register, but players can change groups after talking to the coach.
Where:
Del Monte Park
(fields have night lighting)
806 W Home St
San Jose, CA 95126
When:
Every Monday evening at 8:00-10:00pm from December 2, 2024 - February 24, 2025.
No sessions the following dates as the field will be closed:
December 23, 2024
January 20, 2025
February 17, 2025
Costs:
The total cost for the Summer season will be $131.75, which includes a $30 mandatory AYSO National annual (valid Sep - Aug) fee and a $2.75 transaction fee charged by the system vendor to process payments.
If you had played in the Fall 2024 99U season, you will not be charged the $30 AYSO National fee as you had already paid it for that season.
NOTE:
Part of your registration fee helps fund the AYSO EPIC (Everyone Plays In our Community) program, an inclusive soccer program specially designed for mentally and physically challenged players of ages. Details of this program can be found
here
.
Refund Policy:
All registrations are final. There are no refunds.
Q. How do I register?
A. Click
here
to go directly to the 99U registration page where you can start the registration process. If you have previously played in the 99U AYSO Adult Soccer League, login using your credentials from the last time you had registered and proceed with registration. Otherwise, click on the 'Create New Account' button to start the registration process.
Q. What equipment do I need?
A. You’ll need a shirt, shorts, socks, shin guards and appropriate footwear.
Q. Do players really need to wear shin guards?
A. YES! Shin guards must be worn and must provide a “reasonable degree of protection” and be covered by your socks. Under no circumstances will any sort of jewelry be allowed.
Q. What are the rules?
A. All leagues will adhere to FIFA’s soccer rules with a few modifications. There are no referees and players make calls that are respected by all the participants. We discourage dangerous play and have the right to ban players (no refund) that consistently violate this by risking injury to others and themselves.
This is an AYSO-sanctioned program. Detailed information can be found on the
AYSO Adult League site
.
General Registration Information
If you are new to the Adult League and you already have a username/password by registering a player in one of the Youth Soccer Programs with AYSO, you cannot choose that username for the Adult League. You will need to choose a new username for the 99U program.
